    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve self-diagnosis for a wide range including a transmission path and a network band by only one transmission device.SOLUTION: A transmission system includes: a transmission terminal for achieving reproduction of a video and sound in a local area and transmission/reception via a network; a repeating device which can distribute video data and sound data, which are transmitted from the transmission terminal, to another transmission terminal or a transmission terminal which is the same as a transmission source; and a transmission managing device which can session-manage a plurality of authenticated transmission terminals or a single transmission terminal. The transmission terminal requests session establishment of a single base conference from the repeating device via the transmission management device. The repeating device establishes the session of the single base conference for the transmission terminal of a request source with the session establishment request of the single base conference to achieve self-diagnosis of the transmission terminal only with one base.
