    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic contactor that can be miniaturized by reducing a height of a contact device while restraining an electromagnetic repulsive force generated between a movable contact and a stationary contact.SOLUTION: The electromagnetic contactor has a contact device 100 comprising a pair of stationary contacts 111, 112 and a movable contact 130. The pair of stationary contacts 111, 112 have supporting conductor parts 114 supported on a top plate 105 of a contact housing case 102 at a predetermined interval, and contact conductor parts 116 having a contact plate parts 118, on which at least contact parts 118a coupled with ends of the supporting conductor parts in the contact housing case are formed on the top plate side and that are parallel to the top plate, and coupling plate parts 117 formed adjacent to the contact parts at outer ends of the contact plate parts and extending on the top plate sides. The movable contact 130 is mounted to a coupling shaft 131 coupled to a driving part at the top plate side end via a contact spring 134, and opposed to the contact parts of a pair of the stationary contacts from the top plate side.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-adjust electromagnetic relay with a simple structure capable of restraining collision noises when a movable iron piece is rotated, without enlarging the electromagnetic relay or giving bad influences on a rotation action of the movable iron piece.SOLUTION: An electromagnet block 2, in which a coil 24 is wound around an iron core 22 via spool 23 and a york 41 whose one end is fixed to one end of the iron core 22 extends to a side of a magnetic pole part 25 on the other end of the iron core 22, is provided on a base. A hinge spring 44 is fixed to the york 41, and a movable iron piece 4 is provided rotatably while being supported by the hinge spring 44 with the other end of the york 41 as a fulcrum. The hinge spring 44 is provided with an elastic contact part 46 extending from a fixing position to the york 41 toward a side opposite to a supporting position of the movable iron piece 4. The movable iron piece 4 is integrated with a card member 65 contactable with the elastic contact part 46 before contacting the york 41, on a side opposite to a sucked part 63 across the fulcrum.
