    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable species to be identified for a minute amount of biomolecule, by significantly heightening detection sensitivity of a surface-plasma resonance measuring apparatus.
      SOLUTION: An apparatus which is associated with one of surface-plasma resonance measuring apparatuses, is made portable conveniently, operated simply and made up such that an optical fiber biosensor can be exchanged easily. The apparatus is mainly composed of: an optical source; an optical fiber biosensor unit having a recessed groove, a covering layer and a core layer; a photosensor; a plurality of optical fibers; and a calculating/displaying unit connected to the photosensor. The photosensor detects a signal passing through the optical fiber biosensor unit and transmits it to the calculating/displaying unit. The calculating/displaying unit carries out a calculation and displays its result on a display device.
