摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a diaphragm pump used as a cooling water circulating pump of a water-cooled notebook personal computer, etc., thinner.
SOLUTION: The diaphragm pump comprises a recess formed in a housing; a pumping chamber demarcated by a diaphragm to block the recess and to vibrate; an inlet port and a discharge port formed in the housing toward the direction along the diaphragm, and communicated with the pumping chamber at the inner end part; an inlet side check valve installed between the inner end part of the inlet port and the pumping chamber; and a discharge side check valve installed between the inner end part of the discharge port and the pumping chamber. When a plane, orthogonal to the diaphragm, containing the axis line of the inlet port (discharge port) acts as a reference, the inlet side check valve and the discharge side check valve are inclined to be kept more separate from the diaphragm at the inner end side of the inlet port and the discharge port, and kept closer thereof at the front side in the inclined plane.
