And in the apparatus for soil compaction in which the substructure 2 is movable relative to the superstructure 8 along a compaction axis with at least one compaction amplitude and the upper guide cylinder 12 and the bottom guide cylinder 6 are movable with each other in the direction of the compaction axis, at least one stop element 20, provided between the superstructure 8 and the substructure 2, stops the movement of the substructure 2 relative to the superstructure 8 on exceeding the maximum compaction amplitude.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillating type rolling machine which can eliminate an adverse effect on a belt by reducing fluctuation of a center distance between pulleys of a prime mover and of an exciter, caused by rotation of a pendulum, and can eliminate attenuation of oscillation due to internal resistance of a rubber isolator, to thereby generate sufficient oscillation.
      SOLUTION: The oscillating type rolling machine is formed of a rolling board, the prime mover, and the exciter, and constructed by mounting the prime mover on the rolling board via a vibration preventing means, and fixing the exciter onto the rolling board. The exciter is formed of the pulley and the pendulum which are coaxially supported, and the pulley of the exciter is connected to the pulley linked to an output shaft of the prime mover via a belt. The pulley of the exciter is axially supported on a pulley shaft such that the center of the pulley is decentered to the center of gravity of the pendulum with respect to a pendulum axis. The eccentricity of the pulley of the exciter is equal to 1/2 as much as an amplitude of oscillation thereof.
