    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescence device in which in a top emission structure provided with an upper electrode with an optical transmission, it can be intended to enhance a drive voltage, an initial characteristic of a brightness, and a lifetime characteristic. In particular, between the light emitting unit 15 and the upper electrode 23, a connection layer 17, a hole injection layer (electric charge injection layer) 19, and a hole transport layer (electric charge transport layer) 21, are laminated in this order from the side of the light emitting unit 15.
