摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool shape measuring method and a tool shape measuring device capable of measuring on a machine.SOLUTION: In a tool shape measuring method and a tool shape measuring device, a working tool 11 or a tool holding mechanism for holding the working tool 11 is made to relatively move while scanning with respect to a measuring unit which comprises a line laser 12 for irradiating the working tool 11 or the tool holding mechanism with a slit-like laser beam and a camera 13 for photographing a cut cross-section of the working tool 11 or the tool holding mechanism irradiated with the laser beam from the line laser 12, and thereby the two-dimensional shape of the cross section is measured. The measuring unit is fixed to a machine tool or its peripheral equipment, while the working tool 11 or the tool holding mechanism is made to move while scanning by moving means by the machine tool or its peripheral equipment.
