    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and quickly determine a part of denture to be ground and to easily perform grinding.SOLUTION: Artificial teeth 11, 12 where occlusal surfaces are formed by grinding have reference points that represent positions and angles of the artificial tooth when an occlusal surface of the artificial tooth is obtained by an occlusal-surface form measuring apparatus. The reference point is a convex spherical surface 15 or a concave spherical surface 16 arranged on the occlusal-surface. The spherical surface is 3 or more in number. The convex spherical surface 15 is fit to the concave spherical surface 16 when the maxillary artificial tooth 11 and mandibular artificial tooth 12 are occluded. The occluding portions of the artificial teeth 11, 12 have grinding portions 13, 14.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a denture grinding machine for performing grinding suited to an occlusion motion of a patient without making much noise.SOLUTION: The denture grinding machine includes: a denture-holding table 11 for holding dentures; a grinding tool 15 for grinding the dentures held on the denture-holding table 11; a body 12 for holding the grinding tool 15; a moving mechanism 13 for causing a relative movement between the denture-holding table 11 and the body 12; and a driving mechanism 16 for relatively driving the body 12 and the denture-holding table 11. The moving mechanism 13 relatively moves the denture-holding table 11 and the body 12 in three-dimensional coordinate directions based on grinding portion data, and the grinding tool 15 performs grinding of the denture occlusal surface from a direction perpendicular to the occlusal surface.
