    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a run drive mechanism of a self-running working machine in which push/pull work of the working machine after stopping running by a drive source can be facilitated through a simple structure employing a bidirectional clutch in the running power transmission means.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric lawn mower capable of maintaining a close contact state during its operation even by rotating an operation lever widely to leave a non-contact type reed switch at on or off state for stabilizing the switching action, taking the setting range of the on or off state of the switch in a wide range by enlarging a linguiform piece member and as a result, extending the freedom of its design.
      SOLUTION: This electric lawn mower installing an electric motor 22 on a machine body 11, driving a cutter blade 23 with the electric motor 22, extending a handle 16 (refer to figure 1) in the rear direction of the machine body 11, and installing an operation mechanism 28 for on or off-controlling the electric motor 22 at the handle 28 is provided by constituting the operation mechanism 26 with a non-contact type reed switch 36 for on or off-controlling the electric motor 22, the fan-shaped linguiform piece member 72 for mounting a rivet part 72a at the handle as freely rotatable to decide the on or off state of the reed switch 36 and an operation lever 73 for rotating the liguiform piece member 72.
