    • PURPOSE:To prevent a vehicle from a spin and slip by calculating the acceleration of drive wheels to controllably release constant speed travelling control when the acceleration integrating value exceeds a set value in a predetermined time. CONSTITUTION:In travelling with constant speed, the output signal of a vehicle speed sensor 10 for generating the output pulse having frequency proportional to the rotational speed of drive wheels is input to a control means 130 to obtain the deviation of said output signal from a desired set vehicle speed of vehicle speed stored during the operation of a set switch. An actuator 9 is driven to eliminate the deviation of vehicle speed and control the opening of a throttle valve 6. Then, a constant speed travelling control releasing means 131 in the control means 130 calculates the acceleration of drive wheels and releases the constant speed travelling control when the acceleration integrating value exceeds a set value within a predetermined time. Thus, a vehicle is prevented from a spin and slip.

    • PURPOSE:To attain a rapid deceleration control of proper length by variably setting the preset time, in which rapid deceleration is performed at the time of transfer from an acceleration control or reset control to a normal control, in accordance with a load and a car speed, in the case of a vehicle whose speed is controlled by a vacuum type actuator. CONSTITUTION:A throttle valve 12 is connected to a control valve-provided vacuum type actuator 18 through a wire 16 and a lever 14, and by controlling a vacuum pressure introduced to a vacuum chamber 24 of the actuator 18 through control valves (26, 27), an opening of the throttle valve 12 is adjusted. The actual car speed is increased by almost fixed acceleration during fixed speed running, when an acceleration control, in which a car speed after finish of operation is set as the target car speed, or a reset control, in which fixed speed running, after once release, is reset to a normal control by the target car speed at the time of releasing the fixed speed running, is transferred to the normal control, a rapid deceleration control of preset time is performed, but in this case, the larger is the car speed the longer the preset time of the control is set.
