    • PURPOSE:To perfectly eliminate possibility piercing a finger by mistake and to facilitate disposal, by heating and melting a medical tube made of a thermoplastic synthetic resin equipped with a used medical needle and subsequently cooling said tube to form the same into a lump. CONSTITUTION:A heat insulating casing 1 having a heat insulating door 2 mounted to the front surface thereof has a container space 1a having a required size receiving an inner container 3 and is equipped, for example, with a heater 4 on the ceiling wall thereof. For example, the inner container 3 has a cup-shaped outside container 3a made of stainless steel and an inside container 3b made of a stainless steel net and a medical tube made of a thermoplastic synthetic resin equipped with a used medical needle is received in the inside container 3b of the inner container 3. The medical tube made of the thermoplastic synthetic resin is heated and melted by supplying a current to the heater 4 and, after cooling, the door 2 is opened to take out the medical tube. The synthetic resin being the material of the tube is leaked from the inside container 3b made of the net to be solidified in a disc shape on the bottom part of the outside container 3a. The solidified synthetic resin can be separated and the medical needle is left in the inside container 3b.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood component collection method and a blood component collection circuit used therefor which can obtain plasma with a limited mixing of erythrocytes and leukocytes. SOLUTION: The blood component collection method employs at least a bag 2 for drawing whole blood, a bag 3 for colleting plasma, a bag 4 for collecting erythrocyte liquid and a filter 5 for removing leucocytes. In the method, there are arranged a process to separate the whole blood in the bag for drawing whole blood into plasma and blood corpuscle liquid by centrifuge after the drawing of the whole blood into the bag 2 for drawing whole blood, a process in which the plasma components separated by the centrifugal process is passed through a filter 5 to be collected into the bag 3 for collecting plasma and a process in which, thereafter, the blood corpuscle liquid in the bag 2 for drawing whole blood is passed through the filter 5 to be collected into a bag 4 for collecting erythrocytes.

Further, the device has a flow rate detecting means 30 which detects the blood flow rate in the first tube 3 and a control means which controls the supply rate of the anticoagulant by opening and closing a chuck 23 at prescribed timing according to the detected blood flow rate.

The separated plasma is recovered in a plasma bag 21 and the platelet floating to the outside of the bowl is recovered in a platelet bag 31. Subsequently, the conc. platelet is passed through a leukocyte removing filter 4 and a leukocyte is removed to be recovered in a recovery bag A.

    • PURPOSE:To enhance the safety to the human body and to preserve a red corpuscle for a long period by constituting a blood collecting bag of a resin in which a plasticizer is scarcely eluted to the contents, and in cluding a hemolysis suppressing substance in a constitution material of a red corpuscle bag or in the red corpuscle bag. CONSTITUTION:A blood collecting bag 1 is formed like a bag by superposing a sheet material made of a resin, and welding it by heating in a seal part 2. It is constituted of a resin material in which an elution of a plasticizer to the contents (blood, anticoagulant) is scarcely generated. A red corpuscle bag 40 is an exclusive bag for containing and preserving a red corpuscle, and formed like bag by superposing a sheet material made of a resin, and welding it by heating in a seal part 41. As for the red corpuscle bag 40, it is desirable to constitute it of polyvinyl chloride containing di(ethylhexyl) phthalate(DEHP) being a hemolysis suppressing substance as a plasticizer, and by using DEHP as a plasticizer, the DEHP eluted in the red corpuscle bag 40 generates a protective action of a red corpuscle membrane, hemolysis is suppressed, and it contributes to preserving a red corpuscle for a long period.
