摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a refractory powder for thermal spraying which can be easily and inexpensively produced and has excellent corrosion resistance by compounding the respective clinkers of sintered magnesia, electromagnetic magnesia and dolomite of sintered spinel and a refractory material. CONSTITUTION:This powder consists of the refractory material formed by mixing one kind of the sintered magnesia clinker, electromelting magnesia clinker, sintered spinel, dolomite clinker, and lime clinker or the combination thereof and garnet. The above-mentioned powder is formed by ingeniously using the thermal characteristics of the garnet to improve the adhesiveness to the bricks of furnace walls and the compaction of a fused layer. The abnormal expansion of the garnet of the thermal spraying material formed by mixing basic aggregate raw materials and the garnet is initiated by flames at the time of passing the inside of the flame. The specific surface area thereof is then increased and the state having high meltability is attained. Consequently, the aggregate is adhered to the furnace walls having the small specific surface area and the poor adhesiveness.

摘要： PURPOSE:To form a fire resistant layer, uniform and having high anticorrosion property, by a method wherein basic refractory aggregate consisting of blending rough grains, fine grains and minute powder, which are provided with specified grain sizes, with specified rates is blended with the grains of coal tar pitch and pitch powder having specified grain sizes with a specified rates while thermoplastic resin having a specified solution viscosity is blended with a specified rate to granulate them. CONSTITUTION:The grain sizes of a basic refractory aggregate is constituted of 35-45weight% of rough grains (grain size is 10-1mm), 10-24weight% of fine grains (grain size is 1-0.25mm) and 10-20weight% of minute powder (grain size is 0.25mm or less) while 55-89weight% of the aggregate is blended in total. In order to obtain hot flowing property, 10-30weight% of coal tar pitch having the grain size of 1mm or less and 0-10weight% of coal tar pitch having the grain size of 0.125mm or less are added. 1-5weight% of liquid thermoplastic resin, used for the kneading liquid of baking material and having a low solution viscosity such as 100-600cps, is added considering the forming property of the same. Respective constituents are added, mixed and formed and, thereafter, a desired product may be obtained.

SOLUTION: This heat exhausting device 8 of an immersion nozzle exchanging device 7 is equipped with a preheating furnace 73 for preheating a new nozzle, a waste pot 74 for accommodating the used nozzle, and exhausting means 75 and 76 for dismounting the used nozzle and exchanging it to a new nozzle. The device 8 is accommodated in a pit 6 installed below a floor face of a nozzle exchanging yard, for carrying out exchange of the immersion nozzle mounted to a molten metal accommodating pan via an opening 9a of a deck 9 blocking the pit upper part. In this case, a waste guide plate 78 extending from the preheating furnace to the deck opening side is installed to the upper part of the preheating furnace 73.

Then, the connecting rod 21 is slid in the hollow part of the pull-out rod 18 by extending/shrinking the cylinder 25 and the pull-out claw 20 pivotally supported to the tip part of the pull-out rod 18 is made to raise/fall.

摘要： PURPOSE: To automate the removing work of a lower nozzle and to prevent the breakage of a holder of the lower nozzle by working a cylinder of a nozzle removing device to erect a waste pot, and directly storing a removed lower nozzle into the waste pot. CONSTITUTION: A lower nozzle 6 of a molten metal storing vessel fitted to the bottom of a flow rate control device 7 is loaded on a nozzle holding arm 9, and in this condition, the tip part of the nozzle holding arm 9 is lowered. Then, a cylinder 14 of a nozzle removing device 10 is worked to erect a waste pot 13. The waste pot 13 can be erected by contracting a piston rod of the cylinder 14 because a link 13b connected to the piston rod of the cylinder 14 is integrated with a connection rod 13a. When the waste pot 13 is erected, the lower nozzle 6 of the molten metal storing vessel to be held by the nozzle holding arm 9 of the flow rate control device 7 is stored inside from an opening part of the waste pot 13.
