摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling system by which a high-temperature material to be cooled which is moved on a line is cooled uniformly in the width direction and a steel plate cooled by the cooling system. SOLUTION: This system is a cooling system for cooling a material 3 to be cooled by discharging a cooling medium from a plurality of holes 12 which are provided on a cooling medium container 1 against the material 3 to be cooled which is moved on the line. In the cooling system, the inside of the cooling medium container 1 is divided into five or more chambers R1, R2 ... in the width direction of the material 3 to be cooled with dividing walls 13, 14 ... , flow rate adjusting mechanisms 22, 23 ... by which the flow rate of the cooling medium supplied to each chamber is independently adjusted are provided, also the dividing walls are inclined to the moving direction X of the material 3 to be cooled and adjacent dividing walls 13, 14 ... are arranged by being inclined to the opposite direction of each other to the moving direction X of the material to be cooled. It is preferable that the container is divided into odd-number chambers with the dividing walls and the length of the middle chamber R3 in the width direction of the material to be cooled is enlarged along the moving direction of the material to be cooled.
