    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse generation circuit capable of continuously increasing a load output and improving resolution of a pulse signal at a low duty ratio, a pulse driving device, a dimming device, and an illuminating device.
      SOLUTION: In the illuminating device 10, having a light source 1, a power supply circuit section 2 for supplying power to the light source 1, and a control section 4 arranged between the light source 1 and the power supply circuit section 2 and having a FET which performs power supply/shutdown to the light source 1 and a processing section 41 for generating the pulse signal given to the FET and controlling luminous intensity of the light source 1, practical resolution of the pulse signal at the low duty ratio can be increased, without improving the processing section 41 of the control section 4, since the minimum width of a basic pulse of the pulse signal is set to be within a time of a rapid increase range, wherein the current flowing into the light source 1 increases rapidly. The light-emitting intensity of the light source can be increased continuously, in response to the incremental width of the basic pulse, since one cycle of the pulse signal is established so as to lie be within the rise time of the current flowing the light source 1.
