    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely control increase/decrease of light in a specific wavelength range by a simple system configuration utilizing a fluorescent lamp, an incandescent lamp, or sunlight each of which is a conventional general illumination light source.
      SOLUTION: This functional optical device 10 has an optical filter part 11 attenuating or blocking light in a specific wavelength range by acting on light entered from the outside, and a light source part 15 emitting light in a specific wavelength range. A light-mixing part 12 mixes the light emitted from the optical filter part 11 with the light emitted from the light source part to emit it. Thereby, increase/decrease of the light in the specific wavelength range having a particular effect on a living body or the like can be freely controlled by a simple system configuration utilizing an existing light source or sunlight.
