摘要： PURPOSE:To detect variation in water level without any influence of moisture and dew condensation by attaching a Hall element to either of a movable and a fixed piece, and fitting a magnet which supplies a magnetic field to the Hall element at right angles to the direction of its control current to the other. CONSTITUTION:The Hall element HE is attached to either of the movable piece 7 which moves corresponding to water level variation and the fixed piece 25 which does not move regardless of the water level variation. The magnet 28 which supplied the magnetic field to the Hall element HE at right angles to the direction of its control current is fitted to the other. The water level variation is detected from variation in the output voltage perpendicular to the control current direction of the Hall element HE and magnetic field direction.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine which is capable of starting a motor for rotating a dehydration tank and a pulsator, positively and quietly and increasing the number of rotation promptly to a target number of rotation level to stabilize it regardless of the volume of laundry. SOLUTION: A motor 21 is driven by an inverter circuit 41 equipped with a bootstrap-type power supply circuit to calculate the rotary angle and the number of rotation of the motor based on a motor position detection signal. Further, the motor is restarted considering time for a discharge from the power supply circuit when the start fails or the number of rotation decreases due to the locking of the motor. Thus the rate of an increase in a drive force to be supplied to the motor at the time of start is set at a low level in the early stage of the increase and then is allowed to gradually turn to a high level.
