    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell type ice making machine capable of effectively detecting abnormality of a water temperature sensor and a cooler temperature sensor. SOLUTION: A cell type ice making machine achieves a process of making ice in an ice making chamber by sucking water in a water storage tank (16) with a circulation pump (17) to supply the water into the ice making chamber (1) of a condenser (3) and again returning the water into the water storage tank. The cell type ice making machine includes a temperature sensor (27) for detecting the circulating water temperature and a control device (41) for receiving a detection value of the water temperature sensor. The control device is provided with a water temperature sensor error calculation means for calculating water temperature detection error by comparing the water temperature detection value with substantially 0 deg.C ice point, upon the water temperature detection value from the water temperature sensor becoming a predetermined value upon the ice making process, and water temperature sensor abnormal signal output means for outputting an abnormal signal upon the calculated water temperature detection error exceeding set water temperature sensor allowable error.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend the life of a solenoid valve by reducing the frequency of opening and closing the solenoid valve and judge precisely the requirement to activate or not to activate liquid injection. SOLUTION: An ice making machine is provided with a cooler 1 arranged to an ice making part, a compressor 12, a condenser 13 and a hot gas pipe making compressed hot evaporated refrigerant from the compressor 12 flow in a cooler 1 at ice separating operation and runs the ice making operation and the ice separating operation alternately. The ice making machine is provided with piping attached to the solenoid valve 19 connected to the compressor 12 branched from the piping between the outlet side of the condenser 13 and the cooler 1, and a temperature sensor 20 detecting the temperature of the refrigerant at the outlet of the condenser 13, and the output from the temperature sensor 20 and the predetermined value are compared once per the ice making operation within predetermined time after completing the preliminary cooling of supplying water. If the output from the temperature sensor 20 is predetermined value or higher, the solenoid valve 19 is opened and if it is lower than the predetermined value, the solenoid valve 20 is closed holding the state as it is until the next comparison.

An intermediate frame 11 disposed in the frame is formed by engaging cutouts of intermediate frame plates 13 with each other and coupling a plurality of the intermediate frame plates. A caulking hole for locking protrusions 9 formed at the outer and intermediate frames are formed at a cover plate. The outer and intermediate frames are coupled to one surface of the cover plate by inserting the protrusions into the holes and caulking them, a cooler pipe 31 is disposed on the other surface of the plate, and the pipe, the plate are coupled to the outer and intermediate frames and coupled parts by metal having lower melting point than those of the members.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of the title cooler by eliminating a process of repeatedly heating the same place on an evaporating pipe, which fact prevents the evaporating pipe form deteriorating, by a method wherein a cap for hermetically sealing an opening at each end of the evaporating pipe is brazed to a protecting cylinder. CONSTITUTION:Each of protecting cylinders 2 made of metal, such as copper, of which the ends are open, is separately inserted into each end of an evaporating pipe 1 made of the metal, such as copper, of which the ends are open, and an end on the inner side of each of the protecting cylinders 2 is brazed. After that, each of caps 3 made of the metal, such as the copper, of which the one end is closed, is separately inserted into each of the protecting cylinder 2, and the opening parts of the evaporating pipe 1 are covered, and the other end of each of the caps 3 is separately brazed to each of the protecting cylinders 2, and thus both ends of the evaporating pipe 1 are hermetically sealed. After that, the evaporating pipe 1 is located on the upper surface of a cooler main body 5 having numbers of ice- producing chambers 4 opened downward, and they are dipped in a plating bath 6, and the evaporating pipe 1 is fixed to the cooler main body 5 by dip brazing. After the dip brazing is finished, at each end of the evaporating pipe 1, a brazed part between the protecting cylinder 2 and the cap 3 is heated, the cap 3 is removed. A refrigerant pipe 7 is inserted into the open end part of the evaporating pipe 1 and the end part of the refrigerant pipe 7 is brazed to the evaporating pipe 1, and thus the title cooler can be obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent impurities from depositing, musty smell from rising, and ice from remaining in cooling devices by a method wherein the cyclic ice-making operation is suspended while stored ice detected reaches a specified level before the start of the ice making following the return of a water pan to its starting position and a water pan-driving mechanism is kept operating until the water pan is fully cleared. CONSTITUTION:When a water pan 5 is in its horizontal position, the compressor and a fan motor are set operating; water supplied from a feed valve 12 to a water tank 6 is started flowing in circulation of ice-making water through nozzles 3, an ice-making chamber 1A, and return holes 4 and then to the water tank 6; when the water in the water tank 6 reaches a specified level, a water level, detector 14 acts to turn off the supply of water; after a specified length of time, an environment pump 9 is stopped from operating and the ice-making process is completed; the water pan 5 is tilted downward by a drive motor 10 and the ice-making chamber 1A is heated by hot gas so that ice cubes separate from the ice-making chamber 1A; at the same time water is sprinkled on the water pan 5 from a water sprinkler 13 so as not to leave ice in the water. The production of ice and the removal of ice are repeated in a cycle; when a stored ice detector 21 detects storage of ice to a specified level before the succeeding ice-making cycle, the operation is suspended.
