    • PURPOSE:To utilize low level of heat owned by liquefied natural gas for refrigerating and liquefaction of carbonic acid gas in such a way that after raw stock gas having carbonic acid gas as its principal component is compressed to be more than 7kg/cm G, dried, and refined, and then liquefied natural gas which has been held in a high pressure is aranged to make heat exchange with the carbonic acid gas. CONSTITUTION:If raw stock gas having carbonic acid gas as its principal component is cooled between -50 and -56 deg.C under the pressure of 7kg/cm G, liquefied carbon dioxide can be continuously manufactured. Hereby, it is essential to maintain the inside of the system which includes a gas liquid separator to be in high pressure of 30 to 70kg/cm G. As much as it can be held under such a pressure, liquid phase can exist unfilingly within the range between -70 deg.C and -80 deg.C. In consequence, even in the cooling pipe at the deep cooling part of an evaporating tower, there is co-existing condition of liquid NG and NG (natural gas), without solidifuing carbonic acid gas in heat exchange with this condition and carbonic acid gas, it effectively conduces to the liquefaction of carbonic acid gas.

    • PURPOSE:To vaporize the low temperature liquefied gas near the temperature of flowing water at the final stage by a method wherein a superheater and a vaporizer are connected with each other as one heat exchange to flow water in common. CONSTITUTION:A heat exchanger provided with multipipe 6 in which water flows down is divided on the shell part in two sections, the superheater 1 being connected to the upper section and the vaporizer 2 to the lower section. Liquefied natural gas introduced from an introducing inlet 10 is vaporized after given preheating by exchanging heat with the water flowing through the pipe 6, on shell sides each of a preheating part 3 and an vaporizing part 4. After that, the liquefied natural gas comes out of the vaporizer from an outlet 11; being led to an introducing inlet 13 formed at the bottom end of the superheater through a line 12; being raised through the shell side of the superheater; exchanging heat with the water passing through the pipe 6; and being taken out as the liquefied natural gas from an outlet 14 provided at the top end of the superheater.
