This lowers the temperature of hot water in the general hot water supply path more accurately and quickly thereby reducing the possibility of discharging high temperature hot water from the hot water supply plug.

When the absolute value of the deviation between its value the detection flow rate of the water flow passage amount sensor 7 is less than a set value, the operation of the water passage amount sensor 7 is judged to be normal, and its detection value is used. When the absolute value is at the set value or higher, the water passage amount sensor 7 is judged to be abnormal, a warning lamp 18 is operated, and an alternative burning control operation is executed by the detection value of the electrical flow-rate detection means Hb.
