    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cogeneration system for calculating quantity of heat of stored hot water by taking temperature distribution in a hot-water storage tank into account and increasing calculation accuracy of quantity of heat of stored hot water. SOLUTION: This cogeneration system has a controller 5 controlling the whole system and a hot-water storage system 1 which performs heat exchange by exhaust heat of a heat exhaust device 301 such as an engine power generator to heat hot water and forms temperature stratification to store hot water in the hot-water storage tank 101. It is provided with a plurality of stored hot-water temperature sensors 103 to 106 measuring hot water temperature in each section in the hot-water storage tank. The controller calculates quantity of heat of stored hot water in each layer of temperature stratification in the hot-water storage tank by multiplying hot water temperature in each section measured by the plurality of stored hot-water temperature sensors by weight coefficient based on an experience value of temperature distribution of hot water in the hot-water storage tank.
