摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous tube module of which the permeability performance and the like can be measured using a common measuring container, even if the module varies in its size.
SOLUTION: The other end 22 of each of a plurality of porous tubes 12 each of which keeps one end 20 blocked is opened in a gas chamber 58 between the end cap 18 and the end cover 54. The end cap 18 is provided with a perforation 53 connected to the outside through the inside of the gas chamber 58 and further the gas chamber 58 communicates with the outside through a passage which runs from the perforation 53 to the porous tube 12. Therefor, the module 10 is constituted so that a ventilation passage from the peripheral wall 24 of the porous tube 12 to the outside through the gas chamber 58 and the perforation 53. Thus, the gas which penetrates the peripheral wall 24 of the porous tube 12 is caused to flow out into the outside from the perforation 53. Consequently, for the permeability measurement of the module 10, it is sufficient that the module 10 is housed in a reaction vessel 60, the perforation 53 is connected airtightly with the gas outlet 64 and the reaction vessel 60 is sealed airtightly.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a hydrogen gas separation membrane having both a further higher gas transmissivity and a further higher transmission coefficient ratio. SOLUTION: Porous silica membrane 16 formed on a support body 12 by a membrane forming liquid coating process P3 and a firing process P4, has pin holes 48 with relatively large fine holes exceeding 0.6 nm, and super-micro holes 50 less than 0.6 nm. The diameters of the fine holes are reduced less than 0.6 nm by selective membrane formation of silica on the surface of inner walls of the pin holes 48 in a chemical vapor deposition process P5. Therefore, while fine holes of super-micro holes 50 suited to hydrogen gas separation are maintained, only fine holes of the pin holes 48 larger than them are exclusively reduced, thus, fine hole diameters of appropriate size are provided in a narrow distribution, to obtain the hydrogen gas separation membrane 10 having both a high gas transmissivity and a high transmission coefficient ratio. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber reinforced type solid polyelectrolyte film in which permeation of methanol and swelling on exposure by methanol can be suppressed more surely. SOLUTION: As for the solid electrolyte film, because inorganic fibers contained in it has sufficiently large fiber diameters of 2 (μm) or more and have sufficient fiber lengths of 1,500 times or more of the fiber diameters, that are 3 (mm) or more, are sufficiently reduced in swelling against exposure to the polyelectrolyte. Because of that, an effect to form composite of the polyelectrolyte with the inorganic fibers is sufficiently exerted, permeation of methanol can be suppressed sufficiently and swelling by methanol can be suppressed sufficiently.
