    • PURPOSE: To provide a method of remote surveying a dangerous zone where continuous surveying can be performed accurately even if it is an ultraremote area or a place that cannot be surveyed directly. CONSTITUTION: A fixed GPS11, a data transceiver 12, and a computer 13 for measurement are installed in a manned fixed station 10, and a mobile GPS21, an automatic tracking type total station 22, an inclinometer 23, an azimuth meter 24, and a data transceiver 25 are mounted on a relay vehicle 20, and a full arc prism 31, an inclinometer 33, an azimuth meter 34, and a data transceiver 35 are mounted on a remote-controlled vehicle 30 for measurement. The relay vehicle 20 is shifted to the vicinity of the work place and is stopped there, and the position of the relay vehicle 20 is measured by static relative measurement where GPS's are fixed in two stations, with the fixed GPS11 whose position is public and the fixed mobile GPS21 so as to seek the position of the automatic tracking type total station 22. Next, the position of a prism is computed by following the full arc prism 31 of the vehicle 30 for measurement with the automatic tracking type total station 22, and the position of the prism is converted into the coordinate of measurement under the measurement vehicle 30 so as to perform measurement.

    • PURPOSE:To survey the position of a digging tip part and a current digging direction by operating a driving source with a voltage difference generated owing to a difference in the photodetection area of projected laser light and using such a displacement gage that the laser light travels in the center of a passage hole at all times. CONSTITUTION:A target automatic tracking laser type transit is provided in a pit at a position whose coordinates are already known. Then when the laser light 12 is passed through the passage hole 14, upper and lower, and right and left facing photoelectric converting bodies 13 generate the output voltage difference according to an irregularity, etc., and a corresponding driving source 16 is operated to move a board 11; and a laser light incidence angle measuring instrument 10 which is so constituted that the laser light 12 travels in the center of the passage hole 14 surveys the positions and directions of a laser light reflection body and a tunnel drilling machine to which this device 10 is fitted. Respective measured values are sent to a control circuit through a signal line and processed to display the result on a display part or control the operation of a tunnel drilling part.
