摘要： PURPOSE:To eliminate interference fringes and to improve the impact resistance and weatherability after antireflection coating by laminating a primer layer, a hard coat layer and an antireflection layer on the surface of a base material and, using specific polyurethane as the primer layer. CONSTITUTION:The primer layer which has a refractive index np satisfying the conditions of equation I and a film thickness d satisfying the conditions of equation II is formed on the surface of the plastic lens base material having the refractive index nS within a range from 1. 50 to 1. 70. The hard coat layer and the single or multilayered antireflection layers formed by vapor deposition of an inorg. material are laminated in this order from the lens surface. The primer layer is formed of the polyurethane which contains at least one selected from halogen atoms and sulfur atoms exclusive of fluorine and has the refractive index np within a range from 1.45 to 1.60. In the equation I, nS is the refractive index of the plastic base material; nH is the refractive index of the hard coat layer ; the refractive indices are both the refractive indices to light of 550nm wavelength. In the equation II, lambda is the wavelength of visible light and is 450 to 650nm.

摘要： PURPOSE:To contrive to improve resistance to marring and chemical resistance by a constitution wherein the glass concerned consists of annealed glass plate, resin interlayer and water inpermeable film, which has specified thicknesses respectively. CONSTITUTION:The safety laminated glass concerned is constituted by bonding resin interlayer 2 on the indoor side surface of annealed glass plate 1 and further by bonding water inpermeable film 3, which is biaxially stretched so as to show no directional property, on the indoor side surface of the resin interlayer 2. As the resin interlayer 2, polyvinyl butyral is used. As the water impermeable film 3, polyethylene terephthalate is used. The thickness of the annealed glass plate is set to be 2.5 - 4.0 mm. The thickness of the interlayer is set to be 0.38 - 0.76 mm. The thickness of the water impermeable film is set to be 0.175 - 0.250 mm. Thus, safety laminated glass excellent in safety, see-through, durability and resistance to marring is obtained.

摘要： PURPOSE: To obtain a surface-tempered glass substrate for magnetic recording media with which the amt. of the metal ions eluted from the surface is extremely little and a magnetic recording medium which is formed by using such glass substrate and has excellent weatherability. CONSTITUTION: The surface 1B of the glass substrate is subjected to an ion exchange treatment, then to an alkaline metal ion removal treatment and further to an implantation treatment of bivalent metal ions. The alkaline metal ions in the easily elutable outermost surface layer 1a which are the cause for degradation in the weatherability are removed by subjecting the surface to the alkaline metal ion removal treatment, thereby, the elution of the ions is prevented. The bivalent metal ions are implanted into the outermost surface layer, thereby, the bivalent metal ions are acted as a barrier layer to elution and the transfer of the alkaline metal ions of the layer 1b near the surface to the outermost surface layer 1a is blocked and the elution of the alkaline metal ions is more surely prevented. Since the elution of the alkaline metal ions is prevented, the weatherability of the resulted magnetic recording medium is extremely enhanced.
