    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing machine capable of strongly fixing a plate-like printing body on a printing stand. SOLUTION: The printing machine is provided with the printing stand 4 for placing the plate-like printing body 15 thereon, an ink transferring means 7 movable so as to transfer an ink on the plate-like printing body 15, and registering means 21 and 22 which come into contact with the side faces of the plate-like printing body 15 and adjust the plate-like printing body 15 to a specified position. The registering means 21 and 22 respectively consist of an approximately vertical plane plate whose upper end is approximately the same height as the upper face of the printing stand 4 and which is extended inward from an outer side face of the printing stand 4, and respectively consist of a movable part 56 movable in the extending direction, and a contact part 57 the back face of which is fixed on the upper end of the movable part 56 and the front end of which is a part brought into contact with the side face of the plate-like printing body.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a printing cylinder supporting apparatus so as to be incorporated into a small space inside an apparatus frame by a method wherein a lever which swings around a fulcrum shaft fitted inside a bearing part side frame is provided, and a roller rotatably supported with a rear end of a lever is rotatably supported with a movable block having an inclined groove. SOLUTION: In a bearing side wherein a housing is neither fitted in nor extracted from, a fulcrum shaft 9 is protruded via a support bed 8 on an inside face of a frame 7, and a lever 10 swinging by centering around the fulcrum shaft 9 is fitted. A roller 12 is rotatably supported with a rear end of the lever 10 via a pin 11, and the roller 12 is engaged with an inside face of an inclined groove 14 formed to a movable block 13. A rear end of the movable block 13 is coupled to a rod tip part of a cylinder 17 fixed to a fitting bed 16. Further, a journal support metal fitting 18 which rotatably supports the shaft 19 by being in contact with and separated from a bottom end of the shaft 19 of a blanket cylinder 4, is fixed to a front end top part of the lever 10. Thereby, a printing cylinder supporting apparatus can be miniaturized so as to be incorporated into a space inside the frame.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a chopper arm of an orthogonal folding device lighter than that of an aluminum alloyed one in weight and higher rigidity by constituting it with a carbon fiber reinforced plastic, in a folding machine in a rotary press. SOLUTION: A chopper arm 21 consists of a carbon fiber reinforced plastic as its material, whereas that of the device heretofore in use is composed of an aluminum alloy as the material. Consequently, an extent of flexure is made to be very little even in a folding point or position where the chopper arm 21 goes down maximally, and further the extent of variable torque due to load of the chopper arm 21 itself is also made to be lessened, making it so as not to impose any unnecessary load on the folding machine. Moreover, since rigidity is high as far as approximately thirty times over as compared with that made of aluminum alloy, the extent of flexure of the chopper arm in time of folding work can be minimized, through which any paper break and cut in time of the folding work will in no case occur at all, and thus such one that gives no adverse effect to the accuracy of folding finish is securable.
