    • PURPOSE:To enhance the machining efficiency while restraining the electrolytic action by providing a current means for feeding a current for canceling an electrolytic current running through a slight gap during application of no load pulse voltage, to a gap formed between a consumable electrode and a workpiece. CONSTITUTION:When a transistor Qh is turned on by an energized control circuit Cu, a power source Vh for a high voltage electric discharge circuit applies a voltage having a negative potential on the wire electrode E side and a positive potential on the workpiece W side. At this time, an electrolytic current runs between the electrodes. This electrolytic current is detected as a voltage by a monitoring resistor Rm and is measured by a voltmeter Vm. Then, transistors Qh, Qi are simultaneously turned on by electrolytic current regulating and control circuits Gh, Gi in order to nullify the electrolytic current. Further, the voltages at both ends of the monitoring resistor Rm is detected by the voltmeter Vm while the power source Vi or the variable resistance Ri are regulated so as to nullify the electrolytic current.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate carrying in/out work while to solve the problems of mechanical accuracy, assembling and transportation and to reduce the cost by providing a notch longer than the width of electrode in the rear sideboard of machining tank and a door for opening/closing said portion. CONSTITUTION:A notch longer than the width of electrode 4 and a rear door 9 for opening/closing said portion are provided to the rear sideboard 7 of machining tank. Consequently, even a high electrode 4 can pass through said notch when opening the rear door 9 thus to facilitate carrying in/out of work 1. Since interference between the tank 7 and the electrode 4 is eliminated while the height of machine is lowered, problems of accuracy, assembling and transportation can be solved resulting in reduction of cost. While when closing the rear door 9 through crank lever and cam board upon filling of said tank 2 with working liquid 6, the liquid level higher than the under face of said notch will never cause leakage.
