On reception of the rotation command, the motor rotates the dichroic mirror corresponding to the color light source having reached the end of its lifetime, out of dichroic mirrors 2 to 4 so that an optical axis of a bundle of rays reflected by this dichroic mirror is aligned with an optical axis of a condenser lens 5 again.
