    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that precision is deteriorated in detection owing to dirty on an adhered light reflector and a marker, though the light reflector, the marker, and a magnetic tape, etc., have to be adhered onto each step concerning a conventional self-travelling apparatus.
      SOLUTION: The self travelling apparatus includes: a control means 6; a travelling means 2a for allowing a main body to travel and move; a first step detecting means 4a for detecting a step by distance to a front lower part or an oblique front lower part; and a second step detecting means 4b for detecting the step by distance to a rear lower part or an oblique rear lower part. The control means 6 decides an action to evade the step in response to detection contents in the first or the second step detecting means, and controls travelling. The self-travelling apparatus with a simple configuration travels by automatically evading the step without allowing a user to adhere the light reflector or the marker, etc.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency thawing device which can realize the uniform thawing of a material to be thawed in a short time in a simple structure without relating to the shape of the material to be thawed.
      SOLUTION: This high frequency thawing device is provided with upper electrodes 3a, 3b and lower electrodes 2 disposed in a thawing chamber 1, a high-frequency oscillation means 4 for producing a high-frequency electric field between the electrodes, an electrode-tilting means 5 for turning and tilting the upper electrodes 3a, 3b, and a control means 7 for controlling each means. When a material is not thawed, the upper electrodes 3a, 3b are moved along the inside wall of the thawing chamber 1. When the material is thawed, the upper electrodes 3a, 3b are turned and tilted, and are allowed to face the lower electrodes 2 to thaw the material. Thereby, the high frequency thawing device can uniformly thaw various size materials in the simple structure.
