摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double pipe type heat exchanger offering simple construction with a high heat exchanging rate for improving the stirring effect of a fluid in a heat transfer pipe. SOLUTION: The double pipe type heat exchanger 1 comprises the heat transfer pipe 3 having a deformed cross section portion and arranged in a shell 2 and a stirring member arranged in the heat transfer pipe 3. The stirring member has a cylindrical sheathed pipe 10 formed of a perforated metal and a twisted tape member 11 arranged in the sheathed pipe 10. The twisted tape member 11 is functioned as a static mixer for stirring a cooled fluid flowing in the heat transfer pipe 3. On the other hand, the sheathed pipe 10 supports the twisted tape member 11. The cylindrical sheathed pipe 10 has a number of opening portions 10a formed in the peripheral wall. The cooled fluid located at the center of the heat transfer pipe, stirred by the twisted tape member 11, passes through the opening portions 10a and has contact with the inner wall face of the heat transfer pipe.
