摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain the subject treating agent, composed of an amino-modified silicone, having specified urea groups and a specific molecular weight and excellent in color deepening ability without causing yellowing by reacting an organopolysiloxane having specific amino groups with an aliphatic isocyanate. CONSTITUTION:A textile surface treating agent is composed of a urea- substituted amino-modified silicone, prepared by reacting an organopolysiloxane having at least one primary and/or secondary amino groups in one molecule with a 1-20C aliphatic monoisocyanate (e.g. methyl isocyanate or dodecyl isocyanate) in the form of a straight chain or with a branched chain and having at least one urea group expressed by the formula (R is 1-20C aliphatic hydrocarbon; R is H or alkyl) in one molecule and 1000-500000 molecular weight. The aforementioned treating agent can be, e.g. emulsified and applied to a dyed woven or knit fabric composed of natural, synthetic fiber, etc., to afford excellent color deepening effects without causing yellowing and discoloring.

The compound of the formula can be easily produced by a chloride process comprising chlorinating triethylene glycol by reaction with chlorine and reacting the product with dimethylamine or a direct process comprising reacting triethylene glycol with dimethylamine in the presence of a catalyst and hydrogen. If necessary, additives such as a blowing agent, surfactant and flame retardant can be used in producing a polyurethane by using this catalyst.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a polyurethane production catalyst which is low-odor, water- soluble and easily handleable, can work well even in a small amount of addition because of its high catalytic activity and has excellent heat sensitivity, comprising a specified compound having a cyclohexane ring in the molecule. CONSTITUTION:A compound of the formula is used as a catalyst for the production of polyurethane by reacting a polyol with a polyisocyanate. The compound of the formula can be easily produced by reductively methylating xylylenediamine and converting the benzene ring of the product into a cyclohexane ring by hydrogenation. Because a catalyst comprising the compound of the formula has excellent temperature sensitivity, it can keep the viscosity of a reaction mixture low at low temperature and, by elevating the temperature, the reaction mixture can be rapidly cured into a polyurethane resin. Therefore, even when a mold of a complicated structure is used, the mold can be filled to the corners with the reaction mixture and the mixture can be cured.
