    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the heat-insulating performance of an heat-insulating plate from being deteriorated by getting covered with descaling water and by the deposit of scale, and improve its heating efficiency. SOLUTION: In a non-water-cooling heat-insulating plate that protects an induction heating coil used to heat inductively a heated metallic material to be transferred from the radiated heat from the heated material, a heat-resistant layer 1 that faces to the heated material and is composed of a composite of small piece materials of heat-resistant materials such as aluminum titanate or the like having a high heat- resistant and water-proofing properties, and a heat-insulating layer 2 having a high heat-insulating property that comes in contact with the heating coil are laminated so as to form a multilayer structure. Thereby, its total thickness can be reduced to half as much as a conventional one and the distance between the heating coil and the heat-insulating plate can be made smaller so that the heating efficiency can be improved. Since the stress caused by rapid heating and cooling is absorbed into the fine cracks of the heat-resistant layer so that the heat-insulating plate is not broken, the radiated heat from the heated material is screened by the heat-resistant layer and thereby, the thermal deterioration of both the heat-insulating layer 2 and the coil can be prevented.

The plurality of the supports move to change the distance between the supports, and thereby the heat insulation sheet opens and closes the aperture of the top face of the housing.

The laminate comprises a resin coat or an inorganic fiber cloth 2 resin-impregnated arranged on one surface of an aerogel sheet 1 in which a porosity is 80 vol.% or more, and a reinforcing sheet 3 having a heat resistance of a heatproof temperature or more of the aerogel sheet 1 on the other surface of the aerogel sheet 1. The laminate is laminated and integrated by a mechanical coupling means. The mechanical coupling means has an engaging part on both surfaces of the laminate, and is to be preferably a fastening member 4 having a penetration part penetrating the laminate, more preferably a rivet.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate water absorptivity and oil absorptivity in spite of an extremely good sound absorption performance by covering a porous sound absorber having a sound absorbing effect with a polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE) sheet having many micropores. SOLUTION: The perforated sound absorber having the sound absorbing effect is covered with the PTFE sheet having the many micropores. The PTFE refers to a polymer of tetrafluoroethylene. The microporous sheet is formed by providing the PTFE sheet with the micropores. A woven fabric formed by weaving the fine fibers of the PTFE or a nonwoven fabric consisting of the fine fibers of the PTFE may otherwise be used as well in place of the perforated PTFE sheet. The PTFE sheet formed in such a manner exhibits waterproofness to rain water and, therefore, the infiltration of the water into the sound absorber body is prevented, by which the occurrence of even the slightest impairment of the performance of the sound absorbing material is averted.
