    • PURPOSE:To constitute an economical centralized maintenance station by merging a centralized maintenance function with the control system of one of plural exchanges constituting an exchange network and executing the centralized maintenance of the exchange network. CONSTITUTION:The centralized maintenance station 1 operates as a relay exchange and connects a call between subscribers 2A6 and 2B6. Since the control system 12 of the centralized maintenance station 1 is connected with the control system 2C2 of a maintained station 2C by a channel, the centralized maintenance station 1 can maintain the maintained station 2C. Thus, the centralized maintenance function is merged with the control system of one of plural exchanges being the object of centralized maintenance. The exchange with which the centralized maintenance function is merged executes a regular exchange connection operation and executes centralized maintenance. Thus, economical centralized maintenance can be realized since the control system of the exchange in the exchange network can be used as for centralized maintenance without newly adding the control system only for centralized maintenance.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent resolution deteriorating by switching display to non- interlace display compulsorily when the super-interlace display of a TV signal and a character information signal are performed by displaying a mixing signal obtained by adding the character information signal on the TV signal. CONSTITUTION:The R, G, and B signals of the TV signal and the horizontal and vertical synchronizing signals Vsync and Hsync of the TV signal are selected in interlace display, and the R, G, and B signals of a character information generator 4 and the horizontal and vertical synchronizing signals Vsync and Hsync in the non-interlace display, and the R, G, and B signals of a (TV signal + character information signal) and the horizontal and vertical synchronizing signals Vsync and Hsync of the TV signal in compulsory non-interlace display. Also, when no TV signal is inputted to an input terminal 1 at a compulsory non-interlace display state, the character information generator 4 and a control circuit 7 are operated based on respective self-running frequency. In such a way, the control circuit 7 is set at a non-interlace state, and superimpose display can be performed without deteriorating the vertical resolution of a TV image.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate the influence of an external magnetic field and to improve the azimuth detection accuracy by bringing azimuth sensor output data brought to sampling in a sampling period corresponding to a vehicle speed to average processing. CONSTITUTION:A pulse corresponding to a car speed from a car speed sensor 1 is inputted to an arithmetic processing part 6 through a waveform shaping circuit 2, and a moving speed of a vehicle is calculated. An azimuth sensor 3 decomposes an external magnetic field into two orthogonal components Vx, Vy and outputs them to a multiplexer 4, and they are inputted to the arithmetic processing part 6 through an A/D converter 5. The arithmetic processing part 6 detects the advance direction of the vehicle, calculates the present position of the vehicle from the advance direction and a moving speed of the car and sends it to a display device 7. By measuring the external magnetic field in a sampling period corresponding to a vehicle speed and deriving an average value, the influence of the external magnetic field which is varied irregularly is eliminated.

    • PURPOSE:To enable a bearing to be accurately detected during the running of a vehicle by computing sampling times on the basis of a vehicle speed and sampling geomagnetism. CONSTITUTION:A vehicle speed sensor 1 outputs a pulse corresponding to a vehicle speed to be shaped 2. A processor 6 detects the moving speed of a vehicle from a supplied frequency. A bearing sensor 3 decomposes external magnetic field into two orthogonal components Vx and Vy to be inputted to a multiplexer 4. Detection signals thus obtained are supplied to the processor 6 via the multiplexer 4 and an A/D converter 5. The processor 6 detects the proceeding bearing of the vehicle from the detection signals Vx and Vy and feeds the present position information of the vehicle with its moving speed to a display 7 on which the present position of the vehicle is displayed. Thus geomagnetism sampling times are computed on the basis of the vehicle speed obtained from the sensor 1, geomagnetism is sampled and a mean value is obtained. Since the effect of a change in the external magnetic field can be reduced as a result, a vehicle position detection accuracy and a bearing accuracy can be improved.

    • PURPOSE:To enhance vehicle position detection accuracy and to improve the accuracy of an azimuth by correcting the influence of an external magnetic field variation in the course of running a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:Outputs of a road azimuth obtaining means 11 for fetching road azimuth data from beacon information and an earth magnetism azimuth detecting means 12 for deriving an earth magnetism azimuth from an azimuth sensor output are outputted to a correction value arithmetic means 13. When the beacon is received, the correction value arithmetic means 13 compares a road azimuth obtained from said beacon information and an earth magnetism azimuth obtained from said azimuth sensor output, and derives a correction value from its difference. Said earth magnetism azimuth and the correction value are sent to an azimuth correcting means 14. The azimuth correcting means concerned 14 executes a processing for adding the earth magnetism azimuth concerned and the correction value concerned. In such a way, the derived azimuth is sent to a present position arithmetic means 15, and used as one factor for deriving the present position.

    • PURPOSE:To select the shortest practicable course on a road which can be used for sure by providing a memory device which stores an inputted data of unit price of fuel cost and toll data of toll roads. CONSTITUTION:There are provided a CPU 1, a fuel sensor 4, a distance sensor 5, a map memory 6 and a toll memory 7 which stores toll data of toll roads. When a destination is set by an input device 9, the CPU 1 detects the shortest course from the present position and the set destination to set the same. In this case, if allowable traffic expenses are limited, the CPU 1 calculates the fuel cost of the motor vehicle from the stored data of fuel cost when a unit price of the fuel cost is inputted by the device 9, with obtaining the necessary amount of fuel and remaining amount thereof from the present position to the destination on the basis of the map data. Thus, the lack of the fuel expenses to the destination is calculated. Then, the CPU 1 totals the sum of the toll of to-be-used toll roads from the memory 7, and displays the same so as to judge the selected course. If the selected course is satisfactory, the motor vehicle is guided along the course. If not, another shortest course from among selected courses with one toll road omitted is set. Accordingly, if the procedure is repeated, the motor vehicle can be guided to the destination through the shortest source.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify an input circuit by providing a plurality of key switches in which data on the scrolling direction and the other data are defined in an overlapping manner. CONSTITUTION:An input device 1 is provided with key switches 101-108 in which the scrolling direction and numerical values 1-4, 6-9 are defined in an overlapping manner, key switches 109, 110 respectively assigned only with a numerical value 5, 0, a set switch 111, a clear switch 112, a TV switch 113, a NAVI switch 114, a dot scrolling switch 115 and a screen scrolling switch 116. When the switch 113 is selected, a CPU 2 is brought in an awaiting state for input data from the device 1. Input signals from the switches 101-108 are processed as numerical value data. On the other hand, when the switch 114 is selected, the CPU 2 processes data from an automatic position detector 3 and reads out map data to a display device 8 from an external memory device 4. The CPU 2 is brought in the awaiting state for the scrolling direction until a desired destination is set. Signals from the switches 101-108 are processed as the scrolling direction data.
