    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the execution of the movement of a disk information at the movement of the disk between different cartridges by constituting a disk holding member in such a manner that this member releases the holding of the recording medium when mounted at a disk cartridge and holds the recording medium and enables the removal of the recording medium together with the disk holder when the recording medium is removed from the disk cartridge. SOLUTION: The disk holder 5 removable from a disk cartridge body 1a is arranged in a portion where this holder faces the surface to be arranged with a shutter 3a and the detention is released by removing detaining pawls 6 mounted by detaining pawls 6. Sensing areas 14a to 14d, 15a to 15b for having the information of the disk discriminated by a recording/reproducing device are installed at the disk holder 5 to hold the instrument by one side each. The recording/reproducing device is made capable of previously detecting the information of the disk 4 in the disk cartridge 17a by reading the information of these sensing areas.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency in the arrangement of information holding parts by changing the holding information in such a manner that at least two of the provided informations regarding a recording medium or a disk cartridge are variable and a part of them is made movable, and providing the overlapped area in the movable range of the 1st information holding part and the movable range of the 2nd information holding part. SOLUTION: The information of validity/invalidity for the disk surface is assigned to the 1st information holding parts 11a, 11b, the historical information of the disk taking out is assigned to the 2nd information holding parts 12a, 12b, the information of need/no need of the verifying operation is assigned to the 3rd information holding parts 13a, 13b, and the information of permission/unpermission of the recording is assigned to the 4th information holding parts 14a, 14b. The 1st information holding parts 11a, 11b are expressed by providing or not providing holes at the prescribed positions. The 2nd information holding parts 12a, 12b are irreversible, and when a member 17 for opening/closing a loading/unloading port is housed in a disk cartridge case 2, protrusions are arranged at the places coincident with those of the 2nd information holding parts 12a, 12b so as capable of recognizing by providing holes at the case position.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems with a centrifugal force cancellation method by a correction motor; this method has the problem that the absolute quantity of the correctable centrifugal force cannot be changed; its structure makes the uneven centroid quantity of the correction motor invariable; the centrifugal force is proportional to the square of the number of revolutions but in order to negate the centrifugal force of an uneven centroid disk, the number of revolutions of the correction motor is required to be made the same as the number of revolutions of the uneven centroid disk and the changing of the centrifugal force by changing the number of revolutions is not possible; since the optical disks are exchangeable media, the disks having various kinds of the uneven centroid are used and the adequate operation taking the variation in the uneven centroid of the disks into consideration is required for the correction motor.
