摘要： PURPOSE:To display the amount of water in a container stably and accurately even though the conditions in the container are fluctuated to a large extent, by always supplying cooling water from the lower parts of a pressure difference pipe, which communicates the container with a reference level device, so that the temperature of the water in the differential pipes and the reference level device does not exceed a boiling point. CONSTITUTION:The reference level device 1 is communicated to the container 3 by the pressure difference pipes 2A and 2B. A differential pressure gage 4 is provided in the middle of the pressure difference pipe 2B. A cooling water supply pipe 8 is connected to the pressure difference pipe 2B on both sides of the differential pressure gage 4. A cooling water pump 9 is connected to the cooling water pipe 8. The cooling water of the specified amount described above is constantly injected to the lower end parts 1 of the pressure difference pipe 2B by the cooling water pump 9 through the cooling water supply pipe 8. Thus the temperature of the a water in the reference level device 1 and the container 3 can be maintained at the low value. Even though the pressure in the container 3 is decreased to an atmospheric pressure, possibility of boiling is completely eliminated.

Furthermore, an air discharge line with remote valve 18 releasing to the air and a supply line 36 to the secondary side of the heat exchanger 6 are provided to the secondary side of the heat exchanger 6 in the constitution.

By this, safety of plant is drastically improved as heat discharge in the air becomes possible in addition to the conventional discharge in sea water without changing much the system configuration of the conventional residual heat removal system.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a reactor coolant purification system and its operation method for improving the core cooling function during reactor shutdown process and suppressing the sticking of radioactive corrosion product in a residual heat removal system. CONSTITUTION:In reactor shutdown process, the reactor water of 150% flowrate, for example is taken out with CUW (coolant purification) pumps 2a, 2b and sent to the tube part 3A of a recovery heat exchanger 3 to be cooled. It is then cooled in a non-recovery heat exchanger 4 and sent to a filter demineralizer 9 and partly flows in bypass tubes 11. As the flowrate at a bypass valve 8 is controlled to 50%, for example with a controller 73, the flowrate in the filter demineralizer 9 is kept at 100% flowrate. The reactor water is sent in shell part 3B of the recovery heat exchanger 3 to be hated and partly flows in bypass tubes 72. The flowrate at a bypass valve 13 is controlled at 50% for example, with a controller 14 and the flowrate in the shell 3B is resultingly maintained at 100%. Then the reactor water is returned in the pressure vessel 1.
