The liquid crystal display device is constructed in such a way that each gate signal line is turned off with an off signal in the case the scanning signal is scanned and supplied to the next gate signal line, and in the case the scanning signal is supplied to the next gate signal line, the gate signal line to which the second previous scanning signal is supplied is made to be in a floating state, and further each gate signal line is connected to a signal line to which the off signal is supplied via a part in which it is made to be in the floating state and a diode.
