    • PURPOSE:To keep constant pressure at the sliding surface of a seal ring and ensure stable sealing performance by forming a fresh water supply chamber with the flange edge of the rotation main spindle of a water-turbine and the like and a seal ring, and communicating said chamber with a sealed chamber. CONSTITUTION:A circumferential groove is provided on the sliding surface of a seal ring 6 and forms a fresh water supply chamber 9 together with the sliding surface of a flange 2. And when this water supply chamber 9 is communicating with a sealed chamber 12 via a hole 13, fresh water fed from a water supply pipe 10 tends to flow in an arrow mark direction. The seal ring 6 is exposed to an arrow-marked downward load due to sealing pressure Pa and an arrow-marked upward load due to water supply pressure Pb. As the water supply chamber 9 is communicating with the sealed chamber 12, however, the suitable selection of D2 dimensions enables the water supply pressure Pb to balance approximately with the sealing pressure Pa. Consequently, sliding surface pressure working on the seal ring 6 is extremely low and can always be kept constant. Also, even if fresh water supply is interrupted, the sliding surface pressure of the seal ring 6 is free from an abnormal rise due to the sealing pressure Pa.

    • PURPOSE:To enable a valve to adjust its center axis height, by providing a level adjusting mechanism, which contains a cylinder and a piston, to be arranged in either one end part of a valve supporter which supports the valve of a valve water turbine to the bottom surface of a conduit. CONSTITUTION:In the case of a valve water turbine which houses a generator in the inside of a valve, containing a valve stator 2, to be driven by rotating the water turbine by a flow of water in a conduit 5, a flange 6-B is formed in the side end part of a conduit of a valve supporter 6 which supports the valve to a bottom surface of the conduit 5, and the flange 6-B forms in its peripheral surface a ring-shaped protrusive part (piston part) which exists extending along the peripheral surface. While a conduit side flange 11 is integrally formed with an anchor plate 12 provided to be embedded to the bottom surface of the conduit 5, and the flange 11 forms a ring-shaped recessed part (cylinderpart)mutually fitted to the above described protrusive part. And the valve enables its center axis height to be adjusted through the valve supporter 6 by supplying fluid pressure to a pressure fluid chamber 15 partitioned between the protrusive and recessed parts.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain the supporting structure of a valve type water turbine having a high reliability due to a uniform load transmission by arranging a steel reinforcing beam perpendicular to the shaft of a valve type cylindrical water turbine in the interior of a concrete beam which is placed so as to be adjacent to a stay in the upper part of a concrete wall. CONSTITUTION:In this kind of valve type water turbine, the greater part of load acting on the valve type water turbine body 2 is transmitted to a surrounding concrete structure 7 by a stay 6, and therefore a steel beam 16 of I section which is directly connected to a stay vane being in the upper vertical direction at the upper load supporting part of the concrete structure 7 lying between machinery carrying-in ports 9 and 10 and has a length reaching to the side walls of the concrete structure 7 is embedded. The load at the center of the steel beam 16 is transmitted by a composite member of concrete and beam, and the share load of the beam is transmitted to the side wall concrete at the both ends of the beam, fulfilling the function as a reinforcement for concrete.
