CONSTITUTION:A cooling fan which has a blade 4 and a core plate is mounted on a rotational shaft 3, through which an end bracket 2 is passed in a space formed of a fan cover 1 and the bracket 2. Heats which are generated at a bearing 6, a stator 7, a rotor 8 and a stator coil 12 are transmitted to the bracket 2, a frame 9, or a heat skin fin on the outer surface of the frame. Simultaneously, cooling air sucked from a vent hole 14 by the fan flows between heat skin fins 13. The radial part of the bracket 2 has a recess on the outside of an apparatus, and the outer peripheral side end face of the main stream passage of the core plate of the fan is introduced into the recess.
