    • PURPOSE:To prevent an engine from stalling because of the intake of air through a fuel intake port when the liquid level in a float chamber is inclined at the time of acceleration, deceleration, sharp turning or the like of a vehicle, by providing a fuel accumulating portion surrounding the compensatory fuel intake port of a feedback carburetor. CONSTITUTION:A solenoid valve unit 4, which performs the feedback control of the ratio of fuel to air on the basis of the action of an exhaust gas sensor provided in the float chamber 1 of a carburetor, has a valve 7 for opening and closing the compensatory fuel jet port 6 of a passage for supplying fuel 3 to a nozzle. A fuel intake port 5 is provided in the lower portion of the solenoid valve unit 4. A fuel chamber 11 open at the top is provided in such a manner that a prescribed gap is defined between the fuel intake port 5 and the fuel chamber 11. Since the fuel 3 is accumulated in the chamber 11 of enough height, the fuel intake port 5 is not exposed to air even if the level of the fuel 3 in the float chamber 1 is greatly inclined at the time of acceleration, deceleration, turning or the like of a vehicle. The air is thus prevented from being sucked in to stall an engine.

    • PURPOSE:To improve a follow-up characteristic of a bimetal, provided in an idle compensator chamber, for temperature of the outside air, by detouring an outlet of said chamber, providing a bypass passage and always replacing air in said chamber with the outside air. CONSTITUTION:An idle compensator is operated in such a manner that at a rise of the ambient temperature, a bimetal 4 in an idle compensator chamber 2 is curved leftward to move a valve 5 leftward and open a correction air passage 6. In this way, air is supplied to the downstream of a throttle valve (not shown) through intake negative pressure to prevent a mixture from becoming overrich. In this case, a bypass passage 10 is provided in the vicinity of the valve 5 to communicate said chamber to the correction air passage 6. In this way, even if the correction air passage 6 is sealed by the valve 5 at idle operation, a small amount of air is circulated to the downstream of the throttle valve to always replace air in the chamber 2 with the outside air and improve a follow-up characteristic of the bimetal 4 for temperature of the outside air.
