    • PURPOSE:To load or unload a semiconductor device smoothly to or from a revolving drum, and to prevent the generation of trouble by mounting a guide rail for supporting the semiconductor device fitted to the revolving drum in a thermostatic chamber on the same plane as a carrying path for the semiconductor device. CONSTITUTION:A semiconductor device 5 is supported to the circumferential surface of a revolving drum 9 in a thermostatic chamber 7 through a distributing member 6 from a loader section 1, and positioned under required environmental conditions by the revolution of the drum 9, characteristics are tested in a testing section 8, and the semiconductor device is housed in a magazine 10 for an unloader section 3. The semiconductor device 5 can be loaded or unloaded onto or from a lower rail 14 when an upper rail 15 in a guide rail 13 is moved upward, and the semiconductor device 5 is held between the lower rail 14 and the upper rail 15 when the upper rail 15 is moved downward. The semiconductor device 5 brought to a fixed temperature is unloaded onto turnabout levers 20 from the revolving drum 9. The semiconductor device can be loaded or unloaded smoothly because the distributing member 6, the turnabout levers 20 and the lower rail 14 are positioned on the same plane.

    • PURPOSE:To automatically mount a pellet to a fitting plate having warpage and improve efficiency of pellet mounting by executing the pellet bonding while causing pitching and rolling to pellet. CONSTITUTION:A pellet 1 consisting of silicon providing the gold depositing layer at the lower surface is absorbed and held by the collet 2. The bonding arm 3 supporting the collet 2 is vibrated in the direction of the plane orthogonally crossing the axial direction 4 and is rolled to the vibrating direction. Thereby, the pellet 1 is fixed to the fitting plate 5 having the Au depositing layer at the surface. As a result, the pellet 1 is shifted repeatedly for the angle + or -alpha for the longitudinal direction by the rolling. Accordingly, the entire part of lower surface of pellet 1 is sequentially and repeatedly rubbed within a short period of time and thereby the eutectic alloy layer of Au-Si is formed at the entire part of interface between the pellet 1 and fitting plate 5, forming the good connection.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a direct current discharge lamp having a stable anode which is durable against heat generation from the initial stage of lighting to the terminal period of the service life by using a specified anode. CONSTITUTION:When the relation of the material and wire diameter of an anode 2 to electric power consumed in a light emitting tube 8, that is lamp electric power W1, is not kept properly, sometimes the anode can not bear the load and is melted and deformed within a short period during lamp operation or the material of the anode is evaporated due to high temperature and the surface is damaged and thus normal and stable lamp operation can not be maintained and characteristic of the lamp is widely deteriorated. In the case that the wire diameter D (phimm), thermal conductivity B (Wm .K ) at 300 deg.C, lamp electric power WL (W) of the anode 2 are so defined as to satisfy the relation I, the performance of the anode 2 during lamp operation is stabilized. In this way, without unstabilizing the performance due to deformation of the anode 2 or surface break of the anode 2 during lamp operation, stable lamp performance can be obtained.
