摘要： PURPOSE: To secure the working of a terminal unit despite a stop mode of a host system by connecting the terminal unit to the host system via a stand- alone type totalizer.
CONSTITUTION: In a stop mode of a host system 3 a stand-alone type totalizer 9 controls a ticket vending machine 8 for sale of tickets and at the same time totalizes the information on the sale of tickets. When the system 3 starts its working again, the result of totalization is transferred to the system 3 via a communication circuit. While the machine 8 is connected to the system 3. Thus it is possible to actuate the machine 8 connected to the totalizer 9 even in case the system 3 is set under a stop mode.
