SOLUTION: Proof information C and proof additional information (n) which are inputted from an input means 2 are passed to an arithmetic means 3. The arithmetic means 3 reads secret information (d) out of a secret information holding means 1 and performs specific operation by using the proof information C, proof additional information (n), and secret information (d). For example, the proof additional information (n) is inputted as the modulus number of an open key pair and the secret information (d) is used as an exponent to perform power-residue operation C mod (n). The proof information R calculated by the arithmetic means 3 is outputted by an output means 4. The inspector calculates R mod n by using the other key (e) of the open key pair pairing with the secret information and it is decided that the proof is obtained on condition that the proof information C is obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To allow the device to rotate a window in a position easily observed by the operator according to the instruction of an electronic pen by entering angle information depending on the position wherein the electronic pen of the user is resident, with respect to the display device of the device. CONSTITUTION:An electronic pen detection section 12 arranged on a display screen of a display device 11 informs an processing section 17 of coordinate information representing coordinates entered by plural electronic pens 1-4 and identification information to identify each electronic pen. The user enters the identification information to the electronic pens 1-4 given in advance to the detection section 12. The user draws a slant of, e.g. 45 deg. by using the electronic pens 1-4 at its seated position. The slant is detected by the detection section 12 and converted into an angle from a reference position and stored in a drawing angle storage section 13. When each user instructs rotation by using its own electronic pen in the case of a conference, a window control section 15 processes the drawn picture information from the information processing section 17 to display the window in a direction easily observed based on the drawing angle information from the reference position stored in the drawn angle storage section 13.

    • PURPOSE:To accurately control the moving distance of a recording head and to prevent a white stripe or superposition of a recording image by detecting the moving distance of the recording head on the basis of an output from an ink droplet detector. CONSTITUTION:An ink droplet is flown from a nozzle 2 at the left end of a drop generator 1 to a stitch point of its left end, and it is repeated until the output voltage from a signal processor 14 becomes equal to 0V. Thus, the ink droplet from the nozzle 2 of the drop generator 1 is flown to the stitch point in a state that a carriage 10 is moved by one step, the flying position of the ink droplet is detected by an ink droplet detector 6, the moving distance of the carriage 10 is detected, and so controlled that the moving distance becomes a predetermined value. Thus, it can be so controlled that the moving distance of the carriage 10 becomes equal to a predetermined value without newly adding a hardware for detecting the moving distance of the carriage 10.
