    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which controls the temperature of a heat roll, by detecting the temperature of the heat roll at a plurality of spots.
      SOLUTION: The heat roll 51 is provided with wireless sensors 110, 120, 130 and 140, and electric wave is transmitted to the respective wireless sensors from a transmitter 111. The electric wave, transmitted from the transmitter 111, is changed into an electrical signal and received by an antenna 4A, and the electric signal received by the antenna 4A is converted into a surface acoustic wave on the surface of a dielectric thin film 2 by an interdigital transducer 3A. The amplitude, the phase difference and the frequency or the like of the surface acoustic wave are changed, according to the change of physical quantity (temperature) applied to the dielectric thin film 2. Change in the surface acoustic wave is received as the electrical signal by a receiver 112 so as to analyze the change in the electrical signal. A control part 70 controls the temperature of the heat roll 51, based on the information analyzed.
