摘要： There is disclosed a technique for forming a pack from a foldable blank consisting of a compound foil for receiving rod-shaped articles, typically cigarettes. The blank encloses the contents of the pack in a tubular manner, and the front ends overlapping at least partially interconnected flaps are folded in such a way that an inner longitudinal end flap rests against the contents of the pack. Two side end flaps are folded on these longitudinal end flaps, and the second outer longitudinal end flaps are folded on the side end flaps and the first inner longitudinal end flaps. The sides of the longitudinal end flaps facing toward each other and the edge region of the inwardly folded side end flaps are connected together in a sealed manner by means of a straight bonded or adhesive strip which extends over the width of the pack in the half portion of the front face facing toward the outer longitudinal end flap.

摘要： PURPOSE: To mechanize and greatly promote automation of transport of blank stacks in order to improve working speed of a packing machine. CONSTITUTION: A pocket conveyer 18 is provided between a feed station 16 and a blank magazine 19, wherein each of blank stacks 15 is held in a pocket 34 of the pocket conveyer 18. The pocket conveyer 18 not only transports the blank stacks 15 but also mounts the blank stacks on a proper stack position. Thus packing materials can be continuously fed to the magazine without any failure or troubles.

摘要： PURPOSE: To efficiently feed carton blanks to a packaging device without requiring an operator by tilting the blanks to locate them in vertical or substantially vertical positions. CONSTITUTION: When the rest of carton blanks 10 is decreased to about 20, a tilting conveyor 46 is returned to a first low position. After the tilting conveyor 46 returns to the initial position, independent conveyors 37 and 38 are driven. Thus, a second blank stack 13 is fed to the area of the tilting conveyor 46. The second stack is similarly moved to a blank magazine 25. Then, a next group of the blank stacks 13 and 14 is supplied to a receiving part 23. When the tilted blank stacks 13 and 14 come into contact with a remaining stack 83, holding claws 78 and 79 are returned, so that the remaining stack 83 comes into direct contact with blank stacks 13 and 14.
