CONSTITUTION:The addition function 42 of the transmission terminal station adds a radio frame synchronizing signal to a digital signal by using a frame synchronizing signal in the digital signal. Mask functions 52 and 64 are respectively provided for the intermediate repeater station and the reception terminal station. The functions 52 and 64 mask switching information for prescribed time lest the step-out alarm occurred in the self station is transmitted to a reception terminal side monitor controller when switching information transmitted from the reception terminal station to the transmission terminal station is detected. Thus, the step-out alarm occurring in the self station is masked (masking is released when frames are synchronized again by providing the functions 42, 52 and 64, and switching information is not outputted to the monitor controller of the reception terminal station. Thus, the access of SOH is realized in the intermediate repeater station.

    • PURPOSE:To keep the priority switching of an advanced in-use line for a standby line by detecting frame step-out information inserted into the frame format of a reception signal from the fault information generator of the in-use line in an intermediate repeater station and transmitting a line switching signal to a transmission terminal station and a reception terminal station in the reception terminal station. CONSTITUTION:When the fault information generator 1 in the intermediate repeater station 20 detects the frame step-out of the reception signal of the in-use line 11 from the transmission terminal station 10 being a pre-station, the generator generates frame step-out information, inserts it into the main signal of the frame format in a transmission signal for the reception terminal station 30 being the subsequent station. The fault information detector 2 of the reception terminal station 30 detects frame step-out information of the in-use line 11, transmits an alarm ALMFSYN being a detection signal (d) to the transmission terminal station 10 and the reception terminal station 30 and switches the transmission signal of the in-use line 11 where a frame step-out fault occurs to the standby line 0 so as to switch the line. When the frame step-out fault occurs in the initial in-use line 11 in the intermediate repeater station 20, the advanced priority of the switching of the initial in-use line 11 to the standby line 0 is kept.

CONSTITUTION:An equalizer EQL 121 of an equalizer 112 receives a standby signal 10i supplied from a standby system 100 to a receiving terminal switching panel 11 of an active system 1 from a switch 112. Then the frequency characteristic is corrected by taking the frequency characteristic of a connection cable from the standby system into account. Then a standby signal equalizing output 12o is outputted to a switch 114 of the receiving terminal switch 111. The switch 113 of the switch 111 interrupts the active signal input 11i, selects the standby signal equalizing output 12o and sends it to the output side carrier terminal station equipment 201. Thus, since the specified waveform standard is satisfied and the signal is outputted from the receiving terminal switching panel 11 of a 1st active system, there is no problem even if the length of the connection cable from the standby system is long.

    • PURPOSE:To generate a more random patter whose mark rate is completely a half by permitting such a pattern that outputs of (n) flip-flops FF are all '0', stopping a PN generating circuit temporarily at a specific position and inserting a zero-continuous pattern, and performing shifting operation again. CONSTITUTION:Outputs of flip-flop FFs 1-6 are applied to a zero detecting circuit 10. This output and the output of an EX-OR circuit 8 is EX-ORed by an EX-OR circuit 9, whose output is sent to the FF 1. When a pseudo random pattern generating circuit outputs 0000001, the output 1 of the EX-OR circuit 8 to which '0' and '1' of the FFs 3 and 7 are applied and '1' outputted by a NOR circuit 10 are applied to the EX-OR circuit 9 and '0' is applied to the FF 1, so a zero-continuous pattern is generated. Then, the output '0' of the EX-OR circuit 8 and the output '1' of the NOR circuit 10 are applied to the EX-OR circuit 9, so '1' is applied to the FF 1 to obtain 1000000, which is a conventional PN pattern. Thus, a pseudo random pattern whose mark rate is a half is generated, deviation in spectrum is eliminated, and the pattern becomes more random.
