    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make formable an excellently photographic color image being free from glossiness irregularity or an edge difference in level, at a high speed, regardless of the dot area ratio of the input image, and make restrainable the consumption of of transparent particles. SOLUTION: In this image processing device, input RGB(red, green and blue) data are converted to YMCK data consisting of YMCK(yellow, magenta, cyan and black) data forming the toner image and T data forming the transparent particle image. In the image outputting device, the image holding material holding the toner image and the transparent particles image, and a recording medium provided with a thermoplastic transparent resin layer on the surface are held in close contact with there between, after melting the toner image, and the transparent particle image and the thermoplastic transparent resin layer, subsequently, to separate the recording medium together with the toner image and the transparent particles image from the image holding material. In the image processing device, based on the grand total of the maximum dot area ratio decided by the property of the image outputting and the dot area ratio of the YMCK data, the dot area ratio of the transparent particle image is made to the maximum value when the difference between the both is a specified value, and the dot area ration of the transparent particle image is made below the maximum value when the difference between the both exceeds a specified value.

    • PURPOSE:To provide an image forming method capable of outputting full-color images with high brightness and black and white images with low brightness for the images consisting of the black and white images coexisting in the full- color images. CONSTITUTION:This color image forming method consists of a latent image forming stage, developing stage, transferring and separating stage and fixing stage and comprises executing development in such a manner that the black toner images are formed in the lowermost layer by superposition of four colors of toner images i.e., three kinds of chromatic colors and black. The black toners consists of a resin component and a coloring agent and the resin component contains a polyester resin which does not contain a tetrahydrofurane-insoluble component. The mol.wt. measured by gerpermeation chromatography of the resin component has a weight average mol.wt. (Mw) of 25,000 to 80,000, a number average mol.wt. (Mn) of 2,000 to 10,000 and Mw/Mn>==10. The temp. at which the apparent melt viscosity of the black toner by a flow tester method attains 1X10 poise is in a range of 120 to 140 deg.C.

    • PURPOSE:To completely prevent irregularities in a color image from being formed due to potential unevenness caused by the roughness of the surface of a toner image in a preceding process by forming a beam spot in scanning direction on a photosensitive body in such a manner that the diameter of the beam spot determined by an image forming optical system is a predetermined times the pitch of picture element or more in the scanning direction. CONSTITUTION:Diameters of beam spots in a main and auxiliary scanning direction are set at 1.5 or more times larger than the pitch of picture elements in the main and auxiliary direction and charging, exposure, and development are applied a plurality of times to form images by means of toner of a plurality of colors on the body. Latent images on the photosensitie body formed by light beams is developed in wet or dry process using toner having particle diameter of 7mum or smaller using a developing unit 3. As a result, in a second color or succeeding colors, potential irregularities and caued by scatting of light at time of exposure generated due to the presence of toner a can be restrained and hence generation of irregularities in color or degradation of particles are restrained. Color developing liquid on the photosensitive body is collectively transferred to a record by a transfer corotron 4 and the liquid is passed through a fixing unit 7 and fixed so that a color image is formed. Thus a color image having good half tone can be obtained.
