摘要： PURPOSE:To manufacture a sintered stainless steel article having superior resistance to sulfuric acid by working accompanied by no or slight machining by coating austenitic stainless steel powder with a specified amount of Cu and compacting and sintering it. CONSTITUTION:Austenitic stainless steel powder of 30-200mum particle size is coated with 1-20wt% Cu by plating, vapor deposition, sputtering or other method. The Cu coated stainless steel powder is compacted to the desired shape under 7t/cm pressure and sintered at 1,200 deg.C for 2hr in a hydrogen atmosphere. A sintered stainless steel article having improved resistance to sulfuric acid by uniformly dispersed Cu is obtd. by working accompanied by non- or slight- machining, at a low cost.

CONSTITUTION:Surfaces of gas chamber frames 4, 5 arranged on both side of an anode electrode 2 and a cathode electrode 3 and made of either one of nickel, carbon steel, austenite-series stainless steel in contact with the electrolyte tile 1 holding fused carbonate are coated respectively with tungsten or molybdenum at a thickness of 10-150mum to form films 20, 20a. The film of tungsten or molybdenum can be formed by chemical deposition, physical deposition, or vapor plating.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive ink jet recording head which can be manufactured by an inexpensive manufacturing facility while keeping excellent ink ejection characteristics and reducing the labor required for manufacturing. SOLUTION: An ink channel groove is formed in the channel substrate of a recording head by jetting alumina abrasive grains of 800 mesh using a dry film of 50 μm thick as a mask. When an ink nozzle of 50 μm wide is machined at 40 μm deep (number of times of nozzle path = 8), a depth of 65 μm is attained in an ink pressurization chamber of 2 mm wide and a shallow etching part of ink nozzle can be machined simultaneously with a deep etching part of ink pressurization chamber by the same machining process. A groove formed by jetting abrasive grains has inner surface exhibiting high wettability to ink and no alkaline processing is required for decreasing the contact angle of ink.

SOLUTION: A self-dispersion type carbon black is used as the carbon black pigment dispersion, and a butyl glycol and a pyrrolidone are used together as the water-soluble organic solvent. Particularly, it is preferred to use both diethylene glycol monobutyl ether as the butyl glycol and N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone and 2-pyrrolidone as the pyrrolidone. In this instance, it is preferred that the content of diethylene glycol monobutyl ether in the water base pigment ink for ink-jet recording is 1-10 mass %; the content of N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone is 5-15 mass %; and the content of 2-pyrrolidone is 10-30 mass %.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink jet recorder in which a diaphragm and a part encapsulating the air absorb the pressure fluctuation of an ink in an ink tube incident to the movement of a head by forming the outer case of an ink tank out of a soft material, partitioning the inside by a diaphragm made of a softer material, and encapsulating the air in one partitioned part. SOLUTION: An ink tank 10a is encased in an ink case 1 and coupled, at the ink supply port 15 thereof, with an ink tube 2. The outer case 11 is internally partitioned into upper and lower parts by a laminate film of nylon and polyethylene wherein the upper part is encapsulated with the air of atmospheric pressure to form an air chamber 13 while the lower part is filled with an ink 14 and provided with an ink supply port 15. The diaphragm 12 is remarkably softer than the outer case 11 and the nylon side serves as the air chamber 13 thus ensuring mechanical strength. Polyethylene excellent in ink resistance is employed on the side touching the ink 14.

The synergistic action among the dimethyl sulfoxide and the 1,3-dimethyl-2-imidazolidinone and the diethylene glycol and realize an ink jet recording ink which can dispense with a head protector.

CONSTITUTION:A jig 11 is disposed on a hot plate 10. In the jig 11, a substrate 1 and an oscillating plate 7 to be bonded to each other are overlappedly set. Furthermore, on the oscillating plate 7, a sheet 12 made of 'Teflon (R)' (the trame name of a tetrafluoroethylene resin in Du Pont Co.) and a press plate 13 are laminated in order. Thereon, an end face of a horn 14 of an ultrasonic processing machine is pressed. On the horn 14, a magnetostrictive vibrator excited by a high-frequency electric power is connected, but not shown in the figure. The horn 14 amplifies the vibration of the magnetostrictive vibrator and transmits it to the substrate 1 and the oscillating plate 7 as objects to be bonded to each other. Alternatiely, the sheet 12 and the press plate 13 to be inserted for efficiently transmitting the vibration may be omitted under some conditions.

The powders are put in an electric furnace and heated and the inside of the capsule 18 is evacuated through the pipe 20 and then the pipe 20 is sealed. Then the powders are put in the high-pressure container 22 of a hot hydrostatic press and sintered at temperatures between 500 and 800 deg.C and at pressures between 700 and 2000kgf/cm for 15 to 60 minutes so as to manufacture an Ag-Cr sintered alloy, which is then formed into a contact for use in a vacuum circuit breaker.
