摘要： PURPOSE:To provide an air chuck equipped with a magnetic linear scale which can correctly measure the position of the piston of the air chuck by carrying out the sufficient temperature compensation even if the environmental temperature varies within a narrow width. CONSTITUTION:An air chuck having a switch is an air chuck for holding a held article by shifting a piston 14 by the action of the compressed air and shifting a pair of chucking hooks 22 by a piston rod 28, and is equipped with a magnetic linear scale 23 which outputs the position of the piston 14 as the linear analogue data, and a detecting circuit which detects the nipping state of a pair of chuck hooks 22 on the basis of the analogue data outputted by the magnetic linear scale 23.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a carrying device which can execute various kinds of carrying operation without a large centralized control device and which can adjust and inspect the functions by the device itself. CONSTITUTION:A carrying device is provided with a chuck 13, which can hold and release work, and the chuck 13 is reciprocated in the vertical direction by the Z axial direction cylinder 14. The chuck 13 and the Z axial direction cylinder 14 are reciprocated in the horizontal direction by the X axial direction cylinder 6. A work held by the chuck 13 is carried to a position different from the holding position thereof on the basis of the operation of both the cylinders 6, 14. Operation patterns P1-P10 showing the order of the operation of the chuck 13 and both the cylinders 6, 14 are stored in a memory 22. The desired pattern PX is selected by a pattern selecting switch 24. A CPU 23 reads out the selected pattern Px from the memory 22 to control the operation of the chuck 13 and both the cylinders 6, 14 on the basis of the operation pattern PX.
