Counting thereof is 90 to 00 and 00 expresses that a range wherein a year can be set is exceeded. A year limit detecting circuit 602 detects 00 from the information Dy and outputs a day-of-the-week switching signal Pw. A gate 603 outputs the signal Py when the input of the signal Pw is absent, while it stops the output when this input is present. A day-of-the-week counter 605 receives a one-day signal Pd as an input, counts a day of the week and generates day-of-the-week counter information Dcw, while it stops counting and fixes the information Dcw at 6 when the signal Pw is not inputted. A day-of-the-week switching circuit 606, which outputs day-of-the-week calculation information Dmw from a day-of-the-week calculating circuit 64, makes switching over to the information Dcw sent from the counter 605 and outputs it when the signal Pw is inputted. In this way, display of a month, a day and the day- of-the week can be used even when a year setting range is exceeded.

    • PURPOSE:To always measure a fixed value by constituting a reference voltage generating circuit out of a single constant voltage power source and a resistive division for dividing an output voltage of the constant voltage power source. CONSTITUTION:An output Ss of a sensor 1 is amplified 3 and supplied as an amplified voltage Vs to an A/D converter circuit 4. At that time, the detecting sensitivity of the sensor 1 is proportionate to the value of a sensor driving signal Sd supplied from a sensor driving circuit 2. Now, the reference voltage generating circuit 5 is constitutive of the constant voltage power source 52 and its common voltage Vc divided by resistors 54-56 with their resistance values R1-R3 respectively. In this circuit 5, if the resistors 54-56 have entirely equal temperature and electric characteristics, their resistance values R1-R3 are varied as equally as well. That is, when the voltage Vc is varied by beta% due to variations of the temperature and/or the power source voltage, etc., a sensor driving voltage Vd and an integrated reference voltage Vi, which are generated by the resistive division of the voltage Vc, are also varied by beta%. Now, since the voltage Vs is denotive of Vs=l.Vd (l=AXPXk; A:- an amplification factor for the circuit 3, P:- detecting amt. and k:- a proportional constant), if a voltage Vd is varied by beta%, the voltage Vs is also varied by beta%, so that an A/D converting value is never varied at all.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the size of an equipment by arranging a flux gate type magnetic sensor along the inner circumferential surface of a case body, a battery in the annular magnetic core of the magnetic sensor and a magnetically shielding member between the magnetic sensor and the battery. CONSTITUTION:A back 9 is mounted on the rear of a watch case body 1. A band 6 and the back 9 are made of a non-magnetic material that is not affected by the detection of terrestrial magnetism. A reflection type liquid crystal cell 10 is arranged below a windshield glass in the body 1 and the cell 10 is supported by a support member 12 arranged on the inner circumferential surface of the body 1. The annular magnetic core 4 of a flux gate type magnetic sensor 30 for detecting a bearing is arranged along the inner circumferential surface of the support member 12. An exciting and detecting coil 18 is wound around the magnetic core 4. Magnetically shielding plates 20 and 21 are provided above the magnetic core 4 and on the inner circumference thereof, respectively, in order to avoid the effect of external magnetic field on the coil 18. A battery 5, held by a support case 23, is accommodated in the body 1. Thus, housing the sensor 30 to be built-in, the size of the equipment can be reduced.

The driver 16 drives the pointer 2a by supplying the motor driving signal P4 of one second period synchronized with the second signal Ps to a motor M2.
