    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pantograph-supporting insulator and a pantograph device, that are easy to manufacture and are capable of reducing the occupancy area on a roof and lightening the train weight.
      SOLUTION: This pantographing device 1 comprises a pantograph 2 of a single-arm shape that makes a collector shoe 20 and the support insulator 10, that insulates and supports the pantograph 2 to move vertically. The support insulator 10 is provided with a single-porcelain insulator body 11, having a single through-hole, four air pipes that form airflow channel between the insulator 10 and the pantograph 2, and metal fittings, that arrange and fix the four air pipes in the through-hole of the insulator body 11 along the passing-through direction. The insulator body 11 is easy to manufacture, since only a single through-hole is formed. The arrangement of a plurality of air pipes in the single through-hole allows the number of support insulators to be reduced, and as a result, the occupancy area on the roof can be reduced and the of the car can be reduced.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling stock that can prevent snow from being stuck in a gap of a lower portion of the rolling stock.
      SOLUTION: This rolling stock includes a vehicle 10 and a bogie 20 placed in a bogie gap portion S formed at a lower portion of the vehicle 10.
