    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastomer composition which has excellent flame-retardant properties, is not discolored and maintains satisfactory elasticity even when exposed to high temperature and has excellent weatherability and water resistance.
      SOLUTION: The flame-retardant elastomer composition comprises a product formed by hydrogenating a block copolymer composed of a polymer block including a vinyl aromatic compound and a polymer block including a conjugated diene compound, a rubber softening agent, a polypropyrene resin and a phosphoric acid-based flame retardant. A fluorine resin and, if desired, a polyphenylene ether resin are further added to the flame-retardant elastomer composition so that sufficient flame-retardant properties are exhibited even when an additional amount of the phosphoric acid-based flame retardant is reduced.
