摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road guide system capable of specifying the current location of a user without using communication means such as a GPS and guiding a roadway on the basis of real-time information.SOLUTION: A road guide system of an embodiment comprises: a route searching section that searches for a route from an inputted departure place and destination; a first guide point setting section that, by referring to a map information database, sets a guide point having text information and position information corresponding to at least the route; an information extracting section that extracts feature information from a photographed image; an information recognizing section that acquires the feature information extracted by the information extracting section, refers to at least one of an image information database and a text information database, recognizes a photographed object included in the image, and converts the object into text information; and a verifying section that identifies a point where the image was photographed on the basis of the text information on the photographed object recognized by the information recognizing section, and the text information and the position information on the guide point.
